Me & My Image

We aim to help our girls with transitioning from middle to high school and providing the resources necessary to help them build a strong image of themselves and their identity. We do hands-on activities, self-help activities, deen-based activities as well, and aim to give them a well rounded program.

Girl Scouts

Our East African focused Girls Scouts work with girls from the ages of 5-10 years old promoting creativity and essential life skills, tailored to their cultural context for maximum benefit. Through engaging activities, the girls have been actively building character by exploring distinct positive attributes, fostering a deeper understanding of values such as respect and honesty.

Journey to Success (Young Men)

Sun 12-2pm

We focus on important stuff like job applications, Personal statements, College applications, Small discussion and many more. My favorite part is the college workshops and having to choose which colleges to attend. Please reach out to Musa or Kobe for more information.

Journey to Success (Young Women)

Wed 5-7pm

We help our girls navigate their way through high school as well as real life situations that will be useful for them in the future such as job workshops, college talks, etc. so that they may be ready for life after high school. We promote college readiness and also want to ensure that these girls, between the ages of 14-18, have a safe space where they enjoy coming to, and want to make sure that they feel welcome and are benefitting from us as soon as possible.

YEAS – Young East African Scholars

Thu 5-7pm

YEAS revolves around the youth and helps them develop good character while also allowing them to have fun and enjoy their time.

EAYBL & Next Gen

Sat 2-5pm, Sun 5-8pm

Our main goal and focus for this basketball league is for our coaches to really focus on encouraging and pushing the students to learn not only the game of basketball, but also assist players in exposing them to life lessons through the game of basketball. Improving the basketball skills of the players in the program, learning to play as a team and not individually, and most importantly making sure every player has an enjoyable experience.

Offering basketball drills for the elementary and middle school players, and team chemistry building for high school players.
